Protocol
Litepaper
Why bFunds exists and how the protocol works.
Problem
Tokenized stocks make US equities available to eligible holders, but buying them one by one is slow, expensive and easy to get wrong. Fake tokens using the same tickers are common, and there is no simple way to hold a diversified portfolio on-chain.
Solution
bFunds is an index layer for tokenized stocks. It combines an asset registry, versioned basket recipes, on-chain Index Shares and public sharing so people can build, inspect and copy portfolios.
Architecture
| Layer | Role |
|---|---|
| Registry | Identifies assets by chain ID and address, with source evidence |
| Router | Executes only approved, available routes |
| Vault | Holds components and mints or redeems shares in-kind |
| Strategy | Versioned basket definition for review and copying |
| Copy | Public recipe links; each execution needs user confirmation |
Fees
- Mint / redeem: shown in the preview.
- Curator fee: subject to approved Vault terms.
- Protocol fee: approved terms apply.
- No custody fee on Strategies.
